Pika in Grand Teton

American Pika, Ochotona princeps, in Cascade Canyon, Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming. I was always told pikas, which are related to rabbits and hares were shy creatures that warned each other of intruders by whistling. These pikas, however, were definitely curious, and wandered our from their rocky homes to check out the interlopers.
