Father Pat Noise Memorial, O'Connell Bridge Dublin - this is a hoax plaque that has alledgedly been on the side of the bridge since 2004, but was only recently noticed by a Sunday Tribune journalist. There's been much subsequent controversy with Dublin City Council threatening to remove it. It reads: ."This plaque commemorates Father Pat Noise, advisor to Peader Clancy. He died in suspicious circumstances when his carriage plunged into the Liffey on August 10th, 1919. Erected by the HSTI.
